Our Purchase Policy
If you decide to purchase a puppy from Connsweims, the first thing you have to do is contact us.
All pups are sold with a Limited Registration. This means if you decide to breed this pup later on, AKC will not register their pups; therefore, breeding is discouraged.
However, after you put a deposit down, and you change your mind, the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. We do this because if you put a deposit down to hold a pup, and then you change your mind, we could have sold the pup to someone else and the pup will probably be getting too old and we might have to go down on our price because of age.
If circumstances occur that are out of your hands and you can’t take your puppy, you may however, choose one from a future litter, and your deposit can be used for it.
But we do not refund deposits! So be sure of your decision, a puppy is a big commitment and one that has to be taken seriously.
Connsweims Health Policy
All our puppies come with a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. Puppies will have been wormed and first shots given. The tails will have been docked and dew claws removed.
If by some unfortunate reason your puppy does have a problem, we do want to know about it. We don’t want to be informed about it after the process is over. However, if we are responsible, and its genetic, we need to be included in the decisions. A written notification from a licensed veterinarian will be required. We will not be responsible for any veterinarian bills or medical expense of the puppy. No refunds will be given, but we will replace the puppy as they come available to us.
Remember when you come to visit, you’re visiting our private home. We are not an open-for-business, show-up-any-time place. We are not a public “kennel”. And if you show up unannounced you will be turned away and asked to come back when you have made an appointment. If you have made an appointment, we are waiting for you.
Our customers have 48 hours in which to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian, and is urged to do so. If the veterinarian finds anything seriously wrong with the puppy, it can be returned for an exchange as puppies become available, provided the puppy is returned within the guarantee period and is accompanied by a letter from the inspecting veterinarian, stating what respect the puppy is unsound. No exchange will be made after this period.
We will not accept a return or exchange for any reason including allergy, mortality, landlord’s disapproval, disagreement of family or other problems not related to health, and shall under no circumstances be obligated for any vet or other expenses incurred for any reason. No warranty or guarantee is made to the disposition, life-span, size, show quality or breed ability of any puppy.
